DESCRIPTION: A pair of Ferdinand Barbedienne Regence style dore bronze candelabras. Features four scrolled acanthus motif legs, intersected by shield cartouches enveloping the top of the base. The stem, protruding from the center, is in the motif of a Greco Roman column garnished with amphora handle style accents and further acanthus leaf motifs. Enveloping the top of the stem in the motif of an urn, are two tiers of four candle arms with lily patterns, scrolled foliage, and arching designs. Finished with grape cluster finials. Marked with an impressed:"F Barbedienne" and one cartouche is monogrammed along the bottom illegibly, topped by a crown. Appears to have been converted to lamps, and unconverted once again as there is a knob and some wires exposed.

CONDITION: Fair condition, as mentioned in description, these candelabras were once converted to lamps, and then unconverted into candelabras. There are two knob switches and one still has some minor wiring. Minor loss of gilding. See lot description for details on item condition.
