Description
Roman Empire, probably eastern region, ca. 2nd to 4th century CE. Very fine bronze chariot reign guide in the form of a standing male god wearing some form of armor around his midsection, bare chested. Interestingly, the actual guide is in the form of a single human finger complete with fingernail. Custom stand. Size: 2.25" W x 3.875" H (5.7 cm x 9.8 cm)
