Book matched veneered banjo form case with bronze mounted crest and filigree and heavy bronze door bezel with convex crystal; 7.5 in. cast bronze dial plate with inset 5.25 in. porcelain center dial and 6 panels with weather conditions written in French, one signed “F. Lesage a Paris”. Nice overall condition, original finish, minor veneer losses and missing a bronze garland mount at the bottom of the bezel. 29 in. high x 10 in. wide x 4.25 in. deep.
