Description

Offered for sale is a early AaBe wool blanket. This 100% wool blanket was manufactured by AaBe in the mill located in Tillburg, Netherlands. This infamous European brand was know was a household name for quality throughout the Netherlands and most of Europe since the company founding in 1929. AaBe was highly successful, even through the financial crisis of the 1930s. After the Second World War, the company grew to become the largest blanket manufacturer in the country, with almost 1500 employees. In addition to blankets, AaBe also produced clothing and uniforms. After the factory's finally closed its doors in 2006 they sort after quality blankets became a hot collectors item. This blanket features the infamous green on green color scheme along with the original old style logo of a reindeer and sleigh. The blanket appears to be in good condition with only one patch. Measures: 76" L x 60" W
