Beautifully executed oil on canvas of a young woman preparing laundry done by an unknown artist. Signed lower left either E.F. Henrid or E.F. Henriol but neither name shows up on any search and we have gone through dozens of combinations with no luck. The quality is there, reminiscent of the works of late 19th Century Italian masters such as Iroli but we cannot match up the name. Sight size is 29 1/4 by 14 5/8 and overall size with newer finished corner frame is 35 5/8 by 20 5/8 inches. The canvas and stretcher are late 19th, early 20th Century.
Very minor paint loss from the frame at the top edge.
