In very good polished and restored condition. The surface appears to be an original or period finish with later French polish. Tight and very solid. The marble top exhibits a number of chips and flakes to its perimeter edges. It appears to be original or of the period. The stenciling at the bottom of the frieze appears original. The drawer is a later addition. The metal mounts may not be original. The lower shelf exhibits a repaired veneer tear due to underlying shrinkage across its width.
