Chinese "Faux Bronze" Ceramic CenserProbably 19th century, of fang ding form, with slightly concave sides, each of which is decorated with two stylized dragons confronting each other on a geometric ground, below a studded band, the whole raised on four blade-form legs, each with zoomorphic and archaic scroll detail, the base with a three-character "Hall of the South Office" mark within a square reserve, the later cover, possibly zitan with lacquered finish, surmounted with a carved finial of a figure lying on a standing elephant.
