Civil War ship lithograph and 2 large birdseye maple frames. The hand colored large folio lithograph is entitled “U.S. Armored Frigate, New Ironsides.” Designed by Merrick & Sons, Philadelphia and the lithograph published by W.H. Rease, Phila. – some foxing (most appears to be on the interior of the glass rather than the print – not examined out of frame), appears to be laid down on board, otherwise good condition – the lemon gold frame is from the same period, but with wear and losses to gold leaf. Two large 19th century birdseye maple frames are included in the lot – one with small veneer loss and a small piece of wood across bottom of frame missing, otherwise both in good condition.
