Lord Nelson Stoneware Pottery Jug, Stein, Tall Mug, Tyg, ~ Royal Doulton Silver Collared Stoneware Lord Nelson Commemorative Jug , Circa 1905 A Glazed stoneware jug by Royal Doulton commemorating Admiral Lord Nelson. The jug is of cylindrical form with a bulbous base. It has a royal blue glaze and is decorated with a portrait of Lord Nelson and ships (presumably HMS Victory) in relief. Above the portrait are the words ‘England Expects Every Man Will Do His Duty’ and below the portrait ‘Lord Nelson, Born 1758 Died 1805’. Re purpose as Vase, decorative accessory. Measures ht 8 inches width 6.5 inches depth 5 inches. Dedicated Lord Nelson born 1758-1805, marked underside with trademarks, initials LW, Royal Doulton England , numbered X6421, and g g.
