A Chinese brooch, with aquamarine, jadeite, tourmaline and red and blue paste. The upper scrollwork panel, centrally set with a polished freeform aquamarine, suspending three further scrollwork panels, the lowest suspending a similar aquamarine, with four chains suspending pear-shape gem drops. Mark indicating gold. Length 11cms. Weight 19.4gms.

The condition of this lot is fair, with surface marks evident to the metal and gems in keeping with age and wear. The reverse of the metal is stamped 'Silver'. The aquamarines are heavily included.
