Description
Frederick Carder (English, 1863-1963). Teardrop Candlesticks. Glass Design: Late 1930’s. Steuben Glass Works (American, est. 1903). Model #7746. Height: 10-3/4”, Diameter: 5-3/4”. Pair of Steuben Glass candlesticks with balustrade form. Candlesticks named “Teardrop” due to the perfectly suspended air bubble in the center of each in the shape of a teardrop. Bottoms of both etched with “Steuben”. Designed by Frederick Carder, one of the original founders of Steuben Glass Works.
Condition
Good Condition; few scratches to bases due to age and use. One candlestick with remnants of wax in candle holder. Condition reports are available from Stefek's upon request.
