Description
Meissen (German, founded 1710), early 20th century. A pair of hand painted porcelain dogs, designed by Johann Joachim Kändler, each with a white and gray coat. Each with blue crossed swords to the underside, and one incised 78726 and 346 within a rectangle, the other 78727 and painted 3270. Approximate height 6.3", width 6", depth 3.25". Provenance: From the Private Collection of the Owner of Chelsea House.
