A ROCOCO REVIVAL GILT COMPOSITION TRIPTYCH OVER MANTEL MIRROR, LATE 19TH CENTURY, PROBABLY ENGLISH, in the George III taste, the "C" scroll crested pointed arch over three kidney shaped mirrored plates centering a small candle shelf, surrounded by a profusion of relief ruffles, flower blossoms, bellflowers and leafy flourishes, the whole on a serpentine shaped base with "C" scrolled details. Height: 48 1/4" Width: 59 1/2" Depth: 7"

The frame has apparent regilted areas, there are some mild losses to the gesso carving intermittently throughout, and some dust and dirt debris is noted within the crevices, otherwise in very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
