A LOUIS XV STYLE PAINTED BEECH BERGÈRE À LA REINE, LATE 19TH CENTURY, PROBABLY FRANCE, the shell fan and flower bloom arched carved crest flanked by adorsed scrolls and leafy scrolling tendrils, over a rectangular shield form back, above a bowed "T" shaped cushion seat, within upholstered winged sides and padded arms ending in scrolled leaf carved terminals, on leafy carved supports, all raised on flower carved knee cabriole legs, ending in scrolled feet, and lifted on octagonal pads, joined by an arched flower bloom and leafy tendril and scroll carved skirt, now in gold color damask upholstery with matching brocade trim, by Fred Miller, Houston, Texas. Height: 38" Width: 29" Depth: 26"

There are some minor losses of paint throughout, some very mild occasional small chips on the carving, most chip wear is at the feet and pads, and there are some very mild stains on the upholstery, but otherwise in very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
