A "VICTORIAN BAROQUE" DUTCH MARQUETRY STYLE BURL WALNUT, KINGWOOD AND MIXED WOOD INLAID MUSIC BOX ON CABINET STAND, MODERN, BY PORTER MUSIC BOX CO., RANDOLPH, VERMONT, the lid inlaid with a flower bloom and scrolling foliate framed figural scene of a musician with a lyre serenading a lady with a rose, opening to an interior with a marquetry inlaid company signature, over bombé sides, the front inlaid with a courtship scene of a lady holding a fan and the musician presenting a flower garland under two doves seated on a branch, flanked by musical instrument inlaid sides, on a cabinet base, the doors inlaid with harp and lyre musicians, flanked by instrument and flower bloom inlaid side panels, on a molded plinth base, including twelve discs with Christmas selections, songs from Oklahoma and other classics, serial number 10.
