A ROCOCO REVIVAL PARCEL GILT CARVED WOOD AND MARBLE TOP CONSOLE, POSSIBLY ITALIAN, SECOND HALF 19TH CENTURY, the serpentine bow front figured white marble top with cookie corners over a serpentine skirt with adorsed relief carved flower bloom tendrils on lattice carved grounds centering a rocaille leafy pierced "C" scroll flourish, on two double "C" scroll cabriole legs with bellflower carved knees terminating in acanthus leaf carved scrolled feet on square pads, joined by an arched stretcher centering a pierced fanned palmette and acanthus leaf spray flanked by two large flower blooms. Height: 34 1/4" Width: 43 3/8" Depth: 20 1/8"

There are various breaks with repairs throughout the legs, stretchers and skirt, with some gilt rubbing, and later gilt applied, otherwise in good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
