Circa 1912 Folky Handmade Old Vintage 48 Star U.S. American Flag. Hand painted on both sides; red & cream stripes, bold blue canton with white "star" dots painted on card stock paper. On July 4, 1912, the 47th & 48th star were added to the U.S. Flag for the admission of Arizona and New Mexico within the previous 12 months. Approximate flag size is 3-1/4" x 2-1/4" (a nice frameable size for display). Note old adhesive residue on the hoist end indicates that this was previously mounted to a stick for parade use (stick now missing). Painted on both sides.
