Opaque white glass with apple-green, lemon-yellow, maroon, dusky-pink, rust-brown and light bleu royal overlay in flat relief, few small air bubbles. China, 1800-1840

Neatly carved to depict a lurking cat on a daihu rock, with blooming chrysanthemum surrounded by flying butterflies, the back with a still life showing a planter with peony flowers, a bat, a pomegranate, a ruyi scepter and a bronze vessel jue. Elongated mock ring handles on the side, one seal mark

Seal mark: Ji Xiang (translated=) Good Fortune; auspicious
Shape: Flattened rectangular form
Hollowing: Standard
Mouth, neck and lip: Sprawling neck with a slim maroon overlay collar, flat top and very small mouth
Base: Oval, raised foot rim carved of maroon overlay
Stopper: Rose quartz cabochon on onyx platelet
Height of the bottle with stopper: 6.8 cm
Width of the mouth: 4 mm
Width of the neck: 13 mm
Condition: Good. Some flaws to top (not visible unless stopper is removed), one microscopic irregularity to one of the handles on the side
