Vintage Waterford cut crystal "master cutter Hibernia vase" from the early 1970's - made in Ireland. it has an unusual intricate pattern that can only be made by Waterford master cutters. it is crystal clear, sparkles like a diamond. Sharp pointed top cut points. This vase "query item # 122015902075" is the most desirable of a series of vintage Waterford vases. permitted only to be cut by seniority cutters of the era. it is a remake of an 18th century fine crystal vase. It has diamond panels - fine cuts interspersed with clear panels and a multi-fan cut pointed rim. the vase has a plain flat pedestal base and has the acid etched Waterford mark on the base. The vase was made at the peak of the cutting skills and artistry of the Waterford crystal production period in Ireland. Vase measurement are approximately: 8 1/4" tall x 6" top opening x 4 3/4" foot base.
