Description
A Russian porcelain Easter egg, almost certainly Imperial Porcelain Factory, circa 1900. The egg finely painted with suspended rose garlands and wreathes, probably Imperial Porcelain Factory. Height: 3 1/2 in. (8.9 cm). The delicate rosebud decorations in the style of the graphics of the Mir iskusstva group closely resembles a series of Imperial presentation Easter eggs made at the Imperial Porcelain Factory with the cypher of Empress Alexandra Feodorovna.
