Chinese porcelain potted in a celestial form, bulbous body with round shoulder gently tapered toward tall cylindrical neck, leading to slightly wider rim; raised upon a countersunk foot base. The exterior delicately decorated in rich gilt over glaze vigorous dragon chasing the wish-grantted flaming pearl amidst flames and fumes. The neck with a wide floral patterned ribbon. Banded numerously around rim and foot with interlocking ruyi, and LiShui cresting waves. All reserved in deep-royal-blue underglazed ground. Elegantly presented upon a carved hardwood stand.


Mark on base, a six gilt script -KaiShu- characters reign mark, GuangXu Reign Period of Great Qing.
