Finely potted in a shallow vessel, with narrow cavetto rising a steep rounded sides, supported upon a narrow footed base. The rim is bound in silver and incised decoration of a floral medallion on the interior before bands of floral motifs on the rim, covered overall in a pale creme underglazed. Small firing flaw in bottom of bowl as made. Prob. Song Dynasty Period.
