Fine pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty porcelain bowls, having inverted bell shaped body, wider to the opening, with recessed footed base. The exterior decorated with cobalt- blue dragons and Phoenix amidst flame clouds. Borders of thin lines incised near the top and foot rims and a clear blue color on a very white paste are characteristic features. The center interior with five Fu bats encircling the clouds, bordered with fine ring comforming the cavetto. All against a lemon yellow under glazed ground. Both bowls are beautifully presented inside hard cushion wrapped with floral motif yelow silk, all set within an original hardwood box.


Mark on Base, six blue script -KaiShu- characters enclosed within double fine rings, YongZheng Reign Period of Great Qing (1722-1735).
