The Chinese celestial porcelain vase clay is fine and exquisite, the glaze smooth with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous. The globular body with round shoulder further to cylindrical tall neck with flat opening, raised on flat base. The exterior decorated with hand painting of flowering and fruiting pomegranates abundance, Fruit of happiness for its red color, and symbol of numerous children for its many seeds. All reserved against a purple under glazed ground. Below the rim is inscribed in iron red with the characters, Dayazhai, beside a Tian Di Yi Jia Chun seal mark.
