TINY FRENCH-TYPE MIGNONETTE & SMALL BISQUE BRU BY ARTIST. (1) \3” French-type all-bisque by Kestner. Marks: 208. Swivel neck, jointed hips and shoulders, inset glass eyes, closed mouth, accented lips, original mohair wig, five-piece body with painted yellow boots, silk and lace dress. (2) 7”. Bisque swivel head and shoulderplate, kid body, bisque lower arms and legs, lambs wool wig, silk dress, lace bonnet, leather shoes. Commentary: Mignonette has hairline on torso at neck opening, head stringing loose; Bru excellent.
