Rome, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A large wheelmade pouring vessel with a bulbous body, slender neck, tiered rim, and curved strap handle joining rim to shoulder. Such vessels were used to carry/store water, a precious libation. Size: 7.125" in diameter x 9.125" H (18.1 cm x 23.2 cm)
