ATTRIBUTED TO J. & J.W. MEEKS: A very fine American Rococo laminated carved rosewood arm chair, mid 19th century in the "Hawkins" pattern, floral and grape carved and pierced laminated back sans gadrooning, the serpentine seat on carved cabriole legs. Height 47.5 inches by 28 inches wide. Estimate $6,000-$9,000
