ANSONIA OPAQUE GLASS KEROSENE HANGING / LIBRARY LAMP, opaque blue umbrella shade, stamped brass frame with set-in brass font, mounts with metal overlaid floral decoration, two sapphire jewels to the finial, shade crown, and cut prisms. Electrified with the font tank drilled. Ansonia Brass & Copper Co. Fourth quarter 19th century. 14" D shade.
Excellent condition overall with moderate denting to the font, and a few scattered minute dents to the rigging. Shade undamaged. Typical roughness/flaking to the prisms.
