A cute little Attic black-figure Lekythos, 6th Century BC, attributed to the Little Masters Group, c. 560 – 520 BC, with a scene involving Dionysos seated holding a torch flanked by dancing satyrs, sweeping palm fronds in the fields behind. The shoulders are adorned with vertical tongues, the spout and the foot glazed black. 4 1/8 in (10.5 cm). Light deposits. Ex London, UK private collection acquired in the early 1990's.
