This Japanese inspired pattern features vines, leaves, and flowers, interspersed with discs of stylized flowers, with a chrysanthemum front and center. The blue and white heavy ironstone set has the tureen and lid, 13" long, handle to handle, and 8" tall, to the top of the finial. The under tray is 8 3/4" X 13 1/4". The pieces are well marked with all three items carrying the English diamond registration mark, for 1855, plus a series of impressed maker's marks we can't discern, and the tray is stamped "DAIMIO".
