Description

Continental, late 20th century. A pair of Baroque style enameled wrought iron gates, each with a serpentine top and a scrolling openwork form mounted with applied gilt wrought iron acanthus leaves. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 58.25”, width 23”, depth 0.625".

Condition

Under blacklight, these appear to have been intentionally antiqued. Areas of oxidation overall, with some paint splatters. A couple of leaves have been bent.
