Description
Royal Crown Derby (English, founded 1750), late 18th-20th century. A group of 10 assorted porcelain dishes, including 6 platters in varying sizes, a candy dish, a footed dish, and two saucers, each hand enameled with a red and cobalt Imari pattern with gilt accents. Most marked to underside. Approximate height (of largest platter) 1.375", width 13.25", depth 10".
Condition
Wear commensurate with age and use. Some glaze pops and accretions overall. One small platter with hairline crack to edge, other platter with large hairline crack across underside. Gold enamel loss to rims of all. Staining, crazing, and discoloration under glaze to some. Typical shelf wear. Some surface scratching.
