"Kill 'Em All, 1983 Handwritten lyric sheet, 1 page, 8 1/2 by 11 inches, recto and verso, New York, 1983, on Barrett Alley Recording Studios letterhead, fine condition. Also present is a facsimile copy of a handwritten letter of authenticity by Jon Zazula. These lyrics were written by hand by Lars Ulrich during Metallica's Kill 'Em All (Megaforce, 1983) recording session at Barrett Alley in May of 1983. In part reading (sic): "Down in the depths of my fiery home/The summons bell will chime/tempting you and all the earth/to join our sinful kind…so come on…Jump in the fire…" Ulrich was born on December 26, 1963, in Gentofte, Denmark. His father Torbin Ulrich was an acclaimed national tennis player. Lars had dreamed of following Torbin's vocation until he saw a Deep Purple concert in 1973 in Copenhagen. The concert opened the youngster's eyes to hard rock and heavy metal and his career choice soon changed. Provenance: From the collection of Jon Zazula. "
