A Framed Fan. 19th Century framed fan with carved mother-of-pearl sticks, and watercolor scenes Frame: 23" x 29.5"
Condition
There is extensive damage to the fan. There are multiple places where the mother of pearl sticks have cracked and some have been glued to repair. The paper has aged and sustains tears. There is some loss to the mother of pearl inlay on the left side of the fan. The frame also has cracks throughout.
