Description
Rare 19th c. Rosewood Shelf Clock, in original condition, attributed to J.C. Brown, Forestville, CT, with 30-day time only wagon spring movement, with key and pendulum, two front doors, top door with reverse painted gilt decoration, with white enameled metal dial with Roman numerals, old paper repair label adhered to back 'Harry L. Gleason, Watch Maker and Jeweler, 813 Washington St., Newtonville', 17 1/2" high, 13 1/4" x 5 1/2". Veneer repair to lower left side panel, enamel losses to dial, clock has not been serviced.
