This is a lovely and rare round footed bowl by Georg Jensen. The hand hammered bowl stands atop a nine sided plinth. The base is divided in 9 sections that extend into the bowl. The nine divisions read as a straight indentation line that is accented by two small balls of silver on either side. It weighs 4 troy oz and is 7 3/4" in diameter at the top and 2" at the bottom and is 3 1/8" tall. The bottom is marked with the Jensen date mark for 1925-1932, 925 for Sterling, and Denmark.; This rare piece is in excellent vintage condition.
