Artist unknown, oil on canvas, in the manner of Samuel Walters (1811-1872), "Off the Rock Forte Lighthouse Liverpool", painting of immigrant passenger ships "Eliza" and "Betsy", Liverpool U.K., unframed, circa 1850, 29 x 35 inches. These same ships were originally painted by Walters on individual canvases shortly after the building of the lighthouse and fort.

Condition

This painting has been relined and restored professionally.
