Black Forest carving of a Dog's Head Inkwell and Pen Tray. Black Forest carving of a Dog's Head Inkwell and Pen Tray. A nicely carved, charming piece. The dog has glass eyes and there is a glass liner in the inkwell. Condition is excellent with no cracks or repairs. German/Swiss circa 1900. Dimensions: Pen tray is 7" wide. At its deepest the piece is 5.5" & the dogs head is 3.5"(h)
