After his success in business, he devoted his time toward advising Democratic U.S. Presidents Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D. Roosevelt on economic matters. He is well known for having coined the term "Cold War" in 1947 to describe relations between the US and the Soviet Union from the mid-1940's to the early 1990's. Very Good
