Lancaster County, PA Drawn Work Insertion Signed "Elizabeth Buser, 1848". Needlework potted flowers on name panels. Intended to be used to join two sides of a table cloth. Accompanied with an early hand written note of provenance and lineage. Pictured in "Samplers of the Pennsylvania Germans" by Tandy and Charles Hersh, page 223. 3-1/2" x 59". Condition: Good with wear, stains and fringe loss.
