Circa 1850s quarter plate daguerreotype depicting a handsome young couple.  She appears to be wearing a headband decorated in flowers.  Approximate exterior dimensions of item pictured is: 3-5/8" X 4-3/4".  Front case cover is detached but present.

Condition: back half of case has approximately 1-1/2" section missing from side at top right corner as seen in scan.  one closure hook is also missing.  possible light soiling, light surface scuffs, occasional dings and edge bumps.  image may have some solarization, wipes, etc....must see and review scans for actual condition.  some images have been cleaned or resealed and when possible, that information is included on the backs of the plates as seen in scans.
