DESCRIPTION: A collection of five Chinese carved lacquered cinnabar boxes comprising of the following:
-The first features a circular form with traditional, carved Chinese medallions and floral motifs, opening to reveal a black hued interior. H:1 1/10" Diameter:2.25"
-The second features a cubical form with rounded corners, embellished with carved scenes of scrolled floral motifs, opening to reveal a turquoise enameled interior. H:1 1/8" L:1.5"
-The third features a hexagonal form garnished with scrolled floral motifs and a turquoise enameled interior. H:1.5" L:2 1/8"
- The fourth features a cylindrical, rotund form carved with a traditional, center medallion along the top, enveloped by meander designs and floral motifs with a turquoise enameled interior. H:1.5" Diameter:1.5"
- The fifth and last box has a square form with a center carved decoration of birds enveloped by meander patterns and floral motifs. H:1.25" L:1.75"
