DESCRIPTION: A set of two Chinese boxes comprising of the following:
-The first is a Chinese brass box featuring a rectangular form, engraved with floral motifs along the body. Garnished along the center with a carved jade medallion in the motif of a gourd, flanked by four circular Chinese symbol medallions. Finished with a wooden lined interior. Marked along the underside:"Made in China". H:1 5/8" L:4.45" W:3.45"
-The second features an overall wooden foundation, embellished with serpentine carved plaques along the body in reticulated floral motifs. Further embellished with a serpentine medallion along the lid with a reticulated motif of a floral arrangement stemming from a pot. H:2.75" L:5 1/8" W:4.25"
