Three Carved Chess Sets, 20th c., India, two in fitted leatherette cases, one in a fitted mahogany box (3 Sets), Provenance: The Estates of Dr. and Mrs. David S. Miller, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Condition

Condition consistent with age. Nothing to report to bone example. Black leather case to 4 ¼” bone chess set is lacking leather to left back corner, and chess pieces are classic bone carving in the French style. Black leather case to 4” bone chess set shows age and use. A beautiful example.
