Truly a rare piece. The basket strainer swivels to release the steeped tea. This piece has a great deal of beautiful and fine detail to it. The marks on the bottom suggest Russian. There is a P, then a star with the "hammer and sickle" mark representing Russia inside of it. It also is stamped 916.
