Item Details
Description
A fan painting of a lady from the Qing dynasty or earlier. It is mounted on a silk backing and has a wooden dowel. The painting is a watercolor on silk, and has 2 seals, a signature, and a poem. It comes in a wooden box.

Dimensions are 10 3/4 inches tall X 10 3/4 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is worn with age.

Provenance: From the collection of Mrs. Francis Mortell of Charlottesville, Virginia.
