Kansas City Board of Trade Building, John Wellborn Root (1850-1891), Designer, staircase baluster architectural fragments, set of three, Kansas City, KS / Chicago, IL, circa 1888, copper-plated cast iron, unmarked, together with two associated elements, larger: 12"w x 33"hProvenance: A Private Chicago Collection Catalogue Note: The Kansas City Board of Trade building was demolished in 1968.

Condition

Very good condition. Each baluster with varying degrees of original copper finish. One with two bright sides, one with a dull side and a bright side, and one with some areas of dullness with verdigris patina. Associated elements each with a good original patina.
