Translucent glaze, stoneware vase from the Tang dynasty. This tall vase has twin dragon head handles and a sculpted neck. Figures of children are molded where the handle meets the shoulder of the vase. Medallions decorate the shoulder aswell. It has a wooden stand. Dimensions are 15 7/8 inches tall X 7 1/4 inches wide. The stand is 2 1/4 inches tall. All measurements are approximate.
From a Houston, Texas collector. Collector was an executive at a major oil company and was based in Singapore and Hong Kong from the 1970s to early 1980s.
