Description
Wide mouthed, red glazed vase from the 19th century. The glaze around the neck is translucent and deepens into a rich red that covers the body. The vase comes with a wooden stand and cylindrical metal box with a lid.
Dimensions for the vase are 12 5/8 inches tall 7 3/8 inches wide. The stand is 1 1/2 inches tall. All measurements are approximate.
From the estate of Eulalio Carrera Lowe. The first Panamanian Consul General in Guangzhou, China. Then in Hong Kong and Macau in the 1940s and 1950s.
