Description
The performer places a ribbon around her neck to show how long it is. The ribbon is then placed into an envelope so that it hangs out of both ends evenly. The envelope and ribbon is then cut into two by a spectator with a scissors. As the magician shows both halves of the envelopes to be separate, a small piece of ribbon falls out. She then places this back into the envelope and instantly restores the ribbon back into one piece. The envelope halves are shown complete empty and the magician shows that the ribbon is the exact same length as when she started. The gimmick is made from sterling silver. In Himber’s ad, he said that he wanted to accomplish Tenkai’s feat without sleight of hand. He wrote, “We were too busy to practice, so we invented the Sterling gimmick, which does everything he did PLUS NO, we use only one envelope and one ribbon; YES, the paper can be shown before and after; YES, the ribbon can be marked and measured. This miracle can be done in a bikini or a nudist camp.” Condition: Very Good.
